A personal expression translated to audio & visual experience.
Aristoteles defined being a human as the only self-conscious life form. Thus, the organism in the story stares at itself in the mirror.
The organism is approaching the screen closely out of curiosity. When the screen absorbs a piece of the creature, there is a sense of recognition and positive reward.
Coming back to the screen more and more, the organism doesn’t notice that it is gradually disappearing and getting addicted to the constant reward.
Then comes the point when there is only a single piece left of the creature, it pauses for a second. Will it give itself fully or put an end to the sacrifice?
